Cope Performance Blend ™
A proprietary formulation for the Mid-Atlantic Region with potassium chloride (a fertilizer) and coated with a liquid magnesium chloride/CMA mixture to help jump start the melting process. Melts to -20° and has a blue-colored coating to ensure visible, proper coverage. Available in 50 lb bags (49 bags per pallet) and 12lb. jugs.
Calcium Pellets & Flake
High performance, premium priced calcium chloride deicer provides fast and effective ice melt safe for use on macadam and concrete. Calcium works in a wide range of temperatures and remains effective to -25°. Available in 50 lb bags (49 bags per pallet).
MAG Pellets & Flake
A high performance, premium priced ice melter that is considered safer for the environment. Magnesium chloride is less damaging to concrete, it is a safer pet ice melt and it's kinder to plants and shrubs. Works quickly and melts snow and ice to -13°. Available in 50 lb bags (48 bags per pallet).
Halite Rock Salt
Halite rock salt ice and snow melter melts ice and snow to +15° and helps improve safety of winter surfaces for drivers and pedestrians. Halite is available in 25 lb bags (100 bags per pallet), 50 lb bags (49 bags per pallet) and bulk delivery by the ton.
Safer than Salt Premium
A safe ice melter formulation of calcium, magnesium and sodium chloride, Safer than Salt Premium melts to -20° and has a visible blue coating to ensure proper coverage of product. Available in 50 lb bags (49 bags per pallet).
Combo Therm Chips
Commercial strength blended deicer offers calcium chloride deicers in an economical blend. Processed blend combines calcium (70%) with sodium and potassium chlorides in a single chip and remains effective to -25°. Green coloring gives visible indicator of coverage. Available in 50 lb bags (56 bags per pallet).
Safer than Salt Premium CI-56
The same proprietary formulation with calcium, magnesium and sodium chloride and a corrosion inhibitor (CI-56) added for protection of materials which could be affected by chemical application. Melts to -20° and has a visible green coating to ensure proper coverage. Available in 50 lb bags (49 bags per pallet).
Earth Guard
A blend of sea salt, urea and potassium chloride, Earth Guard ice melt products are an all natural ice melter. An earth-friendly and eco-conscious choice, melts ice and snow to +10° and has a green coating to ensure visibility and proper coverage of product. Available in 50 lb bags (49 bags per pallet).
Mr. Magic®
A unique formulation of potassium, calcium, magnesium and sodium chlorides and coated with calcium magnesium acetate (CMA). Melts to -10° and with its bright orange coating ensures visibility and proper coverage of product, Mr. Magic® is how to melt ice. Available in 40 lb bags (63 bags per pallet).
Pre-Wetting
The use of sodium chloride (salt) brine is now used universally in cold regions as a pre-wetting solution prior to ice storms to prevent the bonding of ice to surface areas which form “black-ice” patches. Pre-Wetting returns surfaces to normal faster, resulting in fewer accidents or injuries. Salt needs water to work, and brine supplies the moisture to aid in the melting process. Increased efficiency using brine results in using less salt which minimizes environmental impact.
