In preparation for the approaching winter season, The Cope Company Salt, Lancaster, constructed an immense covered salt pit with a 1,500 ton capacity. It has triple the space of their previous pit. The addition of the new pit will allow Cope to stockpile bulk salt inventory to accommodate spikes in demand due to winter storms. Regardless of what this winter brings, Cope Salt is assured to have a large quantity of salt on hand. Cope Salt is the Mid-Atlantic’s largest provider of all types of salt for ice melt, water conditioning and food.
